Flexible Technology
The choice of a laboratory system is often based upon an institution’s existing technology infrastructure. Some IT departments are familiar with one of the two predominant operating system choices today: Microsoft or Unix/Linux products. Fletcher-Flora believes that the LIS selection process should be based upon the features and benefits of the product and not restricted because of infrastructure considerations. It is for that reason that FFlex eSuite™ was designed to support either the Windows® or Linux® operating systems, thereby allowing the customer to make the LIS choice that best fits their needs.

Data is key for any LIS system. The database engine used by the LIS vendor also influences selection because of an institution’s internal IT familiarity with a particular database engine. Again, Fletcher-Flora believes that you, the customer, should be able to choose the database engine that best fits your infrastructure. FFlex eSuite™ supports the choice of various database engines including, Unify®, Oracle® and Microsoft® SQL.

Flexible Extensibility
FFlex eSuite™ is really a suite of solution choices that provide our customers with the building blocks to solve their day-to-day needs and to support their growth over time. The beauty in FFlex eSuite™ is its modularity. FFlex eSuite™ can be configured for the simplest to the most complex laboratories. All modules are completely web-based, with proven core software to streamline and simplify the integration of remote locations, of third-party systems such as billing, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and practice management systems, instrumentation, and printing devices.

Flexible Implementation
Most laboratories understand what they want to accomplish with the purchase of a new LIS. However, how to accomplish these goals with any LIS system requires a complete working knowledge of not only the LIS software but an understanding of the unique needs and goals of the institution. Application of the LIS system to achieve the desired goals of the laboratory is paramount to a successful deployment of any system. Our highly skilled implementation team works with you to clearly define and understand your current and future goals, develops a detailed implementation plan to apply our software to achieve these goals, and ensures that the plans are carried out in an expedited and cost effective manner.

Flexible Acquisition
Fletcher-Flora understands that the purchase of any LIS system is a major investment for any institution. The capital resources required can become an impediment to acquisition for those institutions that require board approval or when the lab must compete with other departments for capital approval. Fletcher-Flora offers two licensing models to facilitate the process for their customers: the standard Perpetual License model, and, offering a flexible alternative to the classic software purchase, our exclusive Fixed-Cost Model which provides an all-inclusive fixed monthly fee that works within your operating budget.
