Fletcher Flora Forms Strategic Alliance with Labtest Systems to Offer Results Reporting and Order Entry via the Internet

ANAHEIM, CA. – Fletcher Flora, a leading LIS software company, announced today that it has selected Labtest Systems’ web-based result reporting and order entry system to power its LabPak® NetConnect product offering. Fletcher Flora’s President, Neal Flora, says, “This new relationship provides us with a web wrap-around to our LabPak® LIS products, allowing us to offer a truly complete solution for reference labs, hospitals, and POL’s, which was previously cost prohibitive for many labs.”

Fletcher Flora’s main goal of its online solution is to improve patient care and reduce medical errors. The system is browser independent, allowing for access from anywhere, provides a secure solution with audit trails, and is HIPAA compliant. Online ordering includes, generation of a clean requisition, medical necessity checking, tube specimen labels, specimen handling requirements, and a pending order list. Online results reporting includes, instant inbox segmented by criticals, alerts, and stats, patient specific graphing and flow sheets, and lifetime patient record of the laboratories’ test results.
