Fletcher Flora, Inc. Announces Agreement with Shriners
Hospitals for Children for LabPak® LIS systems
Ten of Shriners Hospitals for Children facilities
implement Fletcher Flora’s LabPak® LIS system to help reduce
cost and increase productivity.
ANAHEIM – October 11, 2003 – Shriners Hospitals
for Children, a network of 22 hospitals that provide expert orthopaedic
and burn care to children under 18, implemented Fletcher Flora’s
LabPak® LIS systems to help reduce costs and improve efficiency. Shriners
is using LabPak® LIS systems in ten of their facilities across North
America, some of which had no prior LIS system.
Mark Williams, Corporate Liaison for Laboratory Standardization
at Shriners Hospitals for Children, praised Fletcher Flora for “getting
the LabPak systems up very efficiently and providing the flexibility to
modify system specifications as needed.” He also noted that “even
the new interface requirements were no problem for your installation team.”
“Our interaction with Fletcher Flora has been
very positive,” said Joyce Dicks, Director of Clinical Lab Services
at Shriners Cincinnati Burn Hospital. "We are especially pleased
with LabPak's quality control module, which is easy to navigate and provides
data in both graphical and chart formats."
“We were able to deploy LabPak at all ten
facilities in a matter of less than 3 months,” said Ken Mitchell,
VP of Sales and Marketing at Fletcher Flora. Mitchell adds that, this
is one of Fletcher Flora’s strengths, the ability to implement systems
quickly and help shorten the time to ROI dramatically. This is a big challenge
in the industry, one that Mitchell feels Fletcher Flora meets exceptionally
well.
